This exercise helps return the voice back to its good condition.

It is recommended that this exercise be performed for several minutes before and after a vocal effort and will help recover a tired voice.

Intended for lecturers, teachers, and artists alike.

 

The exercise – gently and quietly hum one single sound for approximately 5 seconds.

When consistency in producing the sound is achieved, you can gradually increase the duration of the exercise to 10 seconds or more according to ability.

The hum sound must be performed uniformly, without any jumps, breaks, and cracks.

 

Make sure to take a quick breath before starting the exercise.

You can go up and down the range of sounds based on your ability.

 

In summary – sometimes one simple exercise can help more than one would think possible.
